So, who am I?
I'M A GUY WHO ENDED UP ON CNN. (WELL, FOR A FEW SECONDS BACK IN 2020.)
They say less is more. Well, sometimes all it takes is two beautifully paired up words to end up on CNN. And they’re two words that accurately describe this genius campaign for Match.com crafted by the team at Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort shop. I know the man is busy, but I really, really hope he saw the segment. I "appear" at the 1:16 mark (see the video below).
I'M RIGHT BRAINED.
My grandfather was a guitarist and a singer. My father is a florist and an interior designer. My brother brought me along to concerts and raves (the 90s ones) in my teenage years. And I’ve been moonlighting as a DJ since 2012. I've also been writing since childhood. My mind has always been open to all the world has to offer. I believe that this kind of creative lineage is necessary in order to walk into a future world of creative competition. When in doubt of your creativity, exit the Left Brain immediately. Stories crafted in "Left Brain mode" result in those that blend right in with all the clutter.
I’M RANDOM.
My randomness is something that I've had to deal with most of my life. I firmly believe that a random mentality is what fuels an effective brainstorming session. Unfortunately for me, it's brainstorming season in my mind year-round. Fortunately for you, tons of bright ideas are constantly brimming in there. And, as someone who’s constantly evolving, I willingly embrace the unknown and step outside my comfort zone, knowing that growth lies on the other side of familiarity.
I’M A HUMOR CONNOISSEUR.
Without a sense of humor, I don't think that most of us would be able to make it through the day. I'm best friends with Humor. Why? Because Humor is married to Curiosity. If you get people laughing, chances are that you're going to get them interested in your story.
I’M A REJECTION MESSAGE COLLECTOR.
Unlike most, I actually look forward to generic rejection messages in my inboxes. They serve as the perfect reminder that it just wasn’t meant to be—and that I need to work harder. So, keep em’ coming!

My love for stories is like a flame that never dims, igniting my imagination and fueling my passion for the narrative. From the crackling pages of a book to the captivating scenes on screen, I’m drawn to tales that transport me to different worlds, times, and realities. With each story, I discover new perspectives, explore uncharted emotions, and find connections that resonate deep within my soul. And this addiction isn't one to be cured, but celebrated, for it's through stories that we truly come alive.
